Playing God

One night a friend and I tried playing "God." Meaning...we dressed in black spandex, large sweatshirts, winter hats, ski goggles, scarves, and of course trash bags.

Next we drove around town visiting our friends at their houses. At each house we'd take something that belonged to our friend or their family such as a family photo, a trincet on their coffee table, or a shoe. Then we'd continue on to another friend's house, leave what we'd accrued from our previous friend's house and take something else. Clearly...playing God.

However, we ran into a slight problem. At what turned out to be our last friends house, it appeared the family and our friends were already in bed. We considered breaking in but after our previous joking about instances of how it'd be odd if we got pulled over and what to tell the cops about why we were wearing these outfits and why we had a backseat of random object....breaking in and cop interaction was out of the question. So the next best alternative was mailbox! So we left a family portrait from our previous friend's house in their mailbox.

We were God. The next day and perhaps over the next week, our friends had a mass exchange of their misplaced belongings.
